It is located 85 km south of Chania and 5 km west of Loutro, on the section of the European path E4 that connects Agia Roumeli with Loutro.
It is the beach where those who cross the Aradaina gorge rest.
The area is characterized by the many caves formed in the colorful smooth rock and the small beaches inside them.
Marmara is located at a distance of 60′ (walking distance) from the nearest settlement, Lykos and 75′ from Loutro.
There are no roads here and the only way to get there is on foot or by boat. In the summer there are daily routes to Marmaras from the port of Loutro.
